C&ES is a Jacksonville civil engineering firm that designs infrastructure and inspects it being built — two disciplines most firms keep apart, under one roof since 2007.
Our engineers produce the plan sets. Our inspectors are on site when the contractor breaks ground. That overlap is the whole point: designs get reviewed by the people who will have to stand behind them in the field, and field problems get answered by the people who drew the plans.
We work for the agencies and authorities building Northeast Florida — roads, drainage, parks, schools, utilities, and the buildings that go with them.

Since 2007, C&ES has worked both sides of the plan set — engineering the design, then standing on the site while it gets built.
That combination is deliberate. Our design group carries an integrated CEI perspective into every drawing, and our inspectors read plans the way the people who drew them intended. The result is fewer field conflicts, fewer change orders, and projects that close out clean.
We are headquartered in Northeast Florida and staffed for how public work actually runs here: task orders issued on short notice, 24/7/365 availability, and senior engineers who answer their own phones. Our clients include the City of Jacksonville, JEA, JAXPORT, JTA, Duval County Public Schools, Jacksonville International Airport, and Clay County — alongside prime partners like Jacobs, RS&H, CDM Smith, ETM, and Eisman & Russo.
